Story:

When Ryu became a citizen of the Hidden Leaf Village, he wasn't so sure. He was causious about the people around him. It took weeks for Ellie to convince him to lighten up.

Before he was ever a Ninja of the Hidden Leaf, he was a Mercenary, along with his sisters. He loves to fight, and loves a challange. But if something is too easy or a waist of his time, he doesn't fight at all. He didn't require school to be placed in a squad. His life before a Mercenary is unknown.

Personalitly: He is rather calm, but if someone upsets him, he's harsher than a forest fire. Ryu is calm, but smiles almost as much as Ellie. And when he smiles, it's a gentile smile, that would make girls melt.
Girls are starting to call him, 'Sasuke's Rival' because his looks are just as good as Sasuke's. Ryu is kind to people, and doesn't concider himself better, just different.
Ryu hate's Sasuke because of his attitude, and the way Sasuke treats Ellie. Ryu is over protective of his younger sister. That is why he DESPISES Rock Lee. Ryu doesn't want him hurting/dateing/hugging, or his worst fear, kissing Ellie.

Tattoo: For his own reasons, he doesn't have a tattoo.

Team 10 relations: (Ino, Shikamaru, and Choji)
Ryu gets along well with Ino and Choji. He often helps Ino in the flower shop, and goes out to eat with Choji. Ino has a crush on Ryu, but can't seem to decide is she would rather go for Sasuke. Ryu likes to impress Ino with creating fire without using hand signs. Shikamaru, seems to be annoyed with Ryu most of the time. (Could be the fact that Ryu is being 'too' kind with Ino) *jelousy* >3
